Dr. Kathy A. Purcell opened the clinic in 1989. She graduated from William and Mary College, and moved to Florida. She attended the University of Florida where she received her Veterinary Degree. Dr. Purcell regularly attends monthly meetings that are designed to be on the cutting edge of modern veterinary medicine. She and her husband Ken have two daughters.

Dr. Karen J. Pittelli joined the hospital in the latter half of 1990. Her undergraduate degree was earned at Penn State, and then she went to the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her Veterinary Degree. Dr. Pittelli comes from Baltimore, Maryland. One of the reasons that she chose our clinic is because of the size of our facility--she wanted to practice in a comfortable environment where you get to know the clients. Dr. Pittelli also attends monthly meetings. Dr. Pittelli and her husband Garry live local in Carlisle. One of Dr. Pittelli’s lifelong hobbies is breeding, raising, and showing Shih Tzu’s.
